Short Plot Elevation

Observer enters stage through audience, looking around, hesitantly opens Box (box as character). Subconscious escapes, runs around frantically feeling everything including Observer. Attaches instinctively to Observer. Protective and giddy. Short one-sided conversation. Unfulfilled, Observer opens Box again. Ego/Consciousness steps out joyfully, he is self aware, asks everything questions, including Observer, Subconscious, and audience, likes them. Doesn’t understand Subconscious, thinks he’s dull. Controls (attempts). Grows bored again, argues for Box to be opened a third time. Observer is swayed, opens Box. Four Emotions fly out, first Box (as character) drops, second box appears. Chaos ensues, Subconscious protects Observer, Ego rushes around trying to control everything on the verge of tears. Subconscious screams, everyone slowly back to stage center. Ego cues music, begins to conduct music and the four Emotions in drawing a grid on the floor surrounding Subconscious and Observer. While they do this, Ego and Subconscious have a disjointed conversation. Ego tapes Subconscious’s mouth shut (slyly), but Subconscious jumps onto Ego’s back and piggy-rides. Graph is done.
